"I met Chris back in 2011 backstage at the INBF Long Island Experience bodybuilding competition. I was a judge and responsible for conducting the competitor meeting which included explaining posing guidelines and stage presence. After he won his division,We talked briefly about how he strategized his own preparation for the contest. "I decided to compete in this sport to accomplish something new in my life because I knew it took a lot of hard work and dedication to accomplish and I was on my way to being 5 years in remission from having Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. "Before I began my competition prep for the 2015 season I had no intention of working with a coach- I had been on a different team with other coaches the previous season and felt displeasure with the package I brought to the stage. My plan was to listen to my body and try to diet down on my own- and I am so happy that things did not turn out that way.
Chris began working with me shortly after the start of my “independent” contest prep. He is very thorough and very detailed; He takes the time to both gather as much information about you and your training as possible, as well as answer any questions you may have. I found both of these things to be very refreshing as there are many ‘coaches’ and ‘trainers’ out there who are all too willing to take your money without ever explaining the “how” or “why” of what they have set up for you, or making you feel like a priority. Chris takes the time to explain, never hesitates to respond to questions, and most importantly he makes you feel confident in your prep and your results. My goal this year was to bring a better package to the stage than last year and thanks to Chris and being on team Competitive Breed I accomplished that. "Working with Chris over the past 2 ½ years has been nothing short of amazing. For any nutritional guidance or advice, Chris is always the first one I turn to. In 2013 I did a mini-cut with him and he was able to get me the leanest I have ever been while maintaining all my muscle and without having to “suffer” from a severe reduced calorie diet plan. Unfortunately, I suffered an injury shortly after and needed multiple shoulder surgeries over the next two years. During this time, Chris was able to apply his nutritional knowledge to my situation to help me stay lean without doing much activity at the gym and keep me at an optimal body composition for when I returned to the gym. In May 2015 after a 2 year lay-off, I made my return to the gym and Chris was able to help me increase my caloric intake while staying lean and adding strength and muscle. He also provided me with a shoulder rehabilitation program that helped strengthen my shoulder and reduce pain during my weight training. This was a crucial step since my physical therapy program at a separate location seemed to stall with helping recovery. I can honestly say since he incorporated his shoulder rehab routine, my shoulder has made drastic improvements. I went from pressing 30 lb dumbbells for 10 reps to 75 lb dumbbells for 10 reps on incline press in just a few months once starting his rehab protocol. Today, I am back to full activity, which includes weightlifting and playing sports thanks to Chris’s guidance."
